COC 632: Language Disorders and Learning Disabilities

Course Description The contributions of neuropsychology, learning theory, discourse analysis, and cognitive-perceptual development to the investigation of language ability/ disability and learning disabilities are explored. Intervention strategies for those with spoken and print language disorders, pertinent to the speech-language pathologist's role in supporting language learning and learning language to acquire academic knowledge, are presented.
