Where Healing, Teaching and
Physical Therapy Department Hosts Alumni Reunion
On May 31 more than seventy-five PT alumni and faculty gathered at Colbeh, a midtown Manhattan restaurant, to reminisce, network, and enjoy each other's company. Alumni from as far back as 1988 attended along with many more recent graduates. Unofficially, the class of 1997 seemed to have the largest representation! Highlights of the evening included a raffle and presentations to honor long-time faculty members Dr. Maryanne Driscoll and Dr. John Magel. The Distinguished Alumni award was presented to Evan Cohen '92. This award honors alumni who embody the mission of the Touro College Physical Therapy Department through their professional achievement, lifelong commitment to learning, and pursuit of excellence in the field of physical therapy. The event was a great success, with many alumni asking when the next one will be held!
