Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program
The Physical Therapy department at Touro College's School of Health Sciences, with an established reputation in advanced graduate education, has developed an outstanding, innovative certificate program in Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency (OPTR). The residency curriculum is designed to be completed within one calendar year while the therapist maintains his/her present employment. In addition, the certificate program prepares the resident for the Orthopedic Certified Specialist exam (OCS).
This graduate program will have a significant impact on the profession of Physical Therapy and treatment of individuals with orthopedic impairments. It will provide clinicians with the necessary tools to become more efficient and effective in their treatment of patients with an array of orthopedic disorders.
